Terms of Service

By creating an account or using VerseDeconstruct (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

VerseDeconstruct is a personal Bible study tool that provides original-language insight, historical context, and AI-assisted cross-references. Content is offered as a study aid and should always be weighed against Scripture itself. You agree to use the Service in good faith for personal, non-commercial study.

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the Service.

The Service uses a credit-based system. One credit is consumed per verse deconstruction. New accounts receive a small free credit balance. Paid subscription tiers (Basic, Pro, Unlimited) provide a monthly credit allotment or unlimited access at their respective price points.

• Subscriptions are billed monthly and auto-renew until cancelled.
• Credits refresh on each successful billing cycle and do not roll over.
• Upgrades take effect immediately upon a successful charge; downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.
• No refunds are issued for partial months, unused credits, or after cancellation.
• We may adjust pricing or plan features with reasonable advance notice.

All payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. By subscribing you also agree to Stripe's terms. Failed payments may result in temporary suspension of paid features until payment is restored.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to harass, defame, or harm others.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the platform or its AI features.
• Share, resell, or redistribute account access or generated content for commercial gain.
• Submit unlawful, infringing, or malicious content.

The Service, its design, code, and original written content are the property of VerseDeconstruct. Scripture text is in the public domain or used under license from its respective copyright holders. Generated study notes are provided for your personal use.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. AI-generated insights may contain inaccuracies and should not be treated as authoritative theological teaching. Always test what you read against Scripture and trusted teachers.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VerseDeconstruct shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may cancel at any time from your Account page; access continues until the end of the current paid billing period.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
